5/14/93-10/18/04 - "Rio" - Ch. Wintersweet's Blame It On Rio

Rio was a beloved pet at the Mitchell home and will be greatly missed. He was one in a litter of four that all finished their AKC Ch. titles. Rio lived out his life with his siblings, Bart and Lisa.

Rio was rehomed back to Betty as a young dog. After Betty got him in condition, she was able to quickly finish his AKC Ch title. Rio loved everyone and was respected by his kennel mates.

Rio loved and protected his "chewy man" bone as a youngster. He loved to hear it squeak and enjoyed guarding it. He was an awesome showdog and enjoyed the group rings on many occasions. He even shined in the veteran classes. He was fun to watch as he enjoyed performing!!

His handsome, dignified presence was always a sight in the Mitchell yard as he perched on top of his doghouse. There are no words to lessen the pain in loosing a special friend like Rio. He was loved by many of us.....
